Murray Regional Tourism funding opportunities update
MRT are pleased to advise of several new grant opportunities to support the tourism sector. The Murray region is well-placed to access these grants due to the broad eligibility and assessment criteria.
MRT is seeking to maximise the amount of financial support made available to Murray tourism businesses by providing one-on-one mentoring support to help businesses with their grant applications.
MRT recognises that writing grant applications can be a challenging task and has brought on industry consultant Karen Oliver to support eligible businesses to write their application.
The grant writing support will help businesses applying for the NSW Refresh and Renew Fund and the Hotel Energy Uplift program (VIC & NSW) (details below) and will include:
– 1 hour teleconference to discuss the eligibility and assessment criteria and brainstorm the application responses
– A review of the full draft application, including detailed written feedback.
– Ongoing email and phone support during the application writing process.

There is no cost to participate in the program however due to the short timeline to submit applications, expressions of interest need to be received by no later than Friday 5th March. MRT will select participants based on the project’s alignment with the grant program.
Businesses may receive support to apply for more than one grant program.
