Decision Making and Stress Management for Business Decisions
Murray Regional Tourism and the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program have partnered to deliver a business support workshop designed to address the stresses of operating a business in the current landscape and provide strategies to ensure that good decision making remains prevalent in recovery efforts and into the future. This free workshop is tailored to support tourism industry and hospitality businesses.
Speaker & Guests
Delivered by Aimee Makeham of the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program, and with representatives from key counselling and business coaching services including representation from Victorian support agencies (COVID-19 restrictions permitting), the workshop will provide you with:
- an understanding of how stress impacts decision making, and
- strategies to improve your decision-making skills
BEC Business Advice delivers the NSW Government’s Business Connect program which offers highly subsidised business advice and training for business owners and their staff.
Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP) has 20 Coordinators based across regional, rural and remote NSW who inform, and educate individuals, communities and workplaces about mental health and wellbeing. RAMHP links people to appropriate mental health services and resources, and respond in times of natural disaster and severe adversity.
Rural Financial Counselling Service provides fully subsidised one-on-one coaching support for small businesses in regional NSW and can help business owners to understand their financial position, identify options, and develop a tailored recovery plan.
