Murray Regional Tourism (MRT) is a company established by an Agreement between Visit Victoria, Destination New South Wales and thirteen Local Government Councils in New South Wales and Victoria, whose purpose is to lead the development and growth of the tourism industry across the Murray Region, as defined by the thirteen Council boundaries.

Industry Development Manager

Murray Regional Tourism is seeking the services of a suitably experienced individual to fulfil the role of Industry Development Manager. The role is responsible for developing and delivering a range of tourism industry development, education and capacity building initiatives for the Murray region.

Applicants will have:

  • A proven record in product and experience development
  • Strong business development, engagement and mentoring skills
  • Contract and budget management experience
  • Previous experience in business resilience planning and recovery
  • Proven ability in project management
  • Strong strategic planning principles and development experience
  • Ability to work independently with excellent organizational and time management skills.

This role is based in Echuca and is full time. The role is for an initial 2-year contract commencing October 2021 with potential for ongoing employment after this time. A competitive contract will be negotiated based on experience.

Marketing Coordinator

Murray Regional Tourism is seeking the services of a suitably experienced individual to fulfil the role of Marketing Coordinator. The role is responsible for developing and delivering a range of tourism destination marketing initiatives for the Murray region.

Applicants will have:

  • A proven record in managing and creating marketing campaigns
  • Strong digital marketing experience.
  • Contract and budget management experience.
  • Proven ability in Content planning and development
  • Strong strategic planning principles and development experience
  • Ability to work independently with excellent organizational and time management skills.
