Dear Stakeholder,
As we live in a COVID normal manner, there will continue to be many daily challenges that particularly our industry will continue to face. Importantly the health of everyone remains paramount to all decision making.
We have seen yesterday that through our ongoing collaboration and joint strong advocacy, the Victorian state government has relaxed the hard border with regional NSW and reclassified as an orange zone. This means local residents, as well as Victorians holidaying in these areas, will be able to enter Victoria if they isolate upon arrival, get tested and stay home until they receive a negative test result. As part of our ongoing work to show government some evidence based impacts of lengthy and sustained shutdowns, we have prepared an important industry survey which we urge you to complete. It requires maximum input to assist us in our efforts.
