Tourism Managers from across the region gathered in Echuca Moama on 13/14 September for the quarterly Tourism Managers Forum run by MRT. The 2-day event covered a range of topics relating to marketing, industry development and broader strategic tourism issues.

Key topics covered included:

  • 17/18 marketing and public relations program
  • 17/18 industry training opportunities – including the upcoming webinar series
  • Launch of the new corporate website
  • Discussion regarding the upcoming review and planning for the new Murray Destination Management Plan

Guest speaker Michelle Morris, Head of Event Acquisitions Regional, Visit Victoria, provided an overview of the new Regional Event Fund program.
