Whether you are a local tour operator, a community group or a local council, there are plenty of grants available to help you grow. We have put this page together to make it easier for you to find what you need.

State and National Grants
Some projects need a bit more backing. There are larger grants available from the state and federal governments for regional development and tourism. These can be competitive and a bit tricky to navigate, so MRT keeps a close eye on what is available to help point you in the right direction.

Letters of Support
If you are applying for a state or national grant, a Letter of Support from MRT can help make your application stronger. We provide these for projects that help bring more visitors to the Murray and align with our regional plans. If you need a hand with a letter to back your project, please get in touch.

Grants From Your Local Council
Our local councils offer various grants to help with everything from new equipment and local events to building better facilities. These are a great starting point for smaller projects that make a big difference in our towns. You can find links and a quick summary for each council in our region below.
